Bro that's something that pisses me off as you get past them and then somehow they come around you even if you got them by half a track dude I've come so close to throwing my controller through my $2,000 TV The other thing is I don't have a steering wheel so you can do it but it's very hard it's not as smooth

GT7 on PSVR2 is amazing. I have a Mitsubishi GTO in real life and it’s spot on in the game. Every tiny detail you can see up close in VR. never fails to impress.

Yes bro yes I cannot beat it dude and it's pissing me off I bought in so many different cars gotten a tomahawk I got I forget the name of it but it's an open wheel old F1 car put nitrous in it upgraded the turbo and they're pulling away from you like I'm sitting still I've tried the Bugatti I forget what it's called the blue car and that thing's like 1600 horsepower not even close Can't even I can catch up but I can't beat the first and second place guys by the time I make it up there they're already halfway around the track it's crazy and on top of that I don't know how to tune for shit I just play like I played back in Gran Turismo 2 3 and 4 but the most horsepower and the best part and brute my way through it ain't working on this race because then you get penalty if you go off track or hit a wall

Fingers crossed that PS5 Pro will bring improvements to GT7 VR like native 4k rendering or higher refresh rates

Gran Turismo 4, even in 2024 still is the BEST GRAN TURISMO GAME EVER MADE as it featured the most realistic car models ever. Its should've received 96 on Metacritic.

So many good memories with this game. So many hours spent trying and failing, until you finally succeeded in taking 1st. I was 10 when I first started playing this and wish I could go back to this time.

Yeah remember this game very well... A Matrix blast on my first Playstation console 26 years ago and this masterpiece... Long days and nights were put into this game... Buying Playstation magazines to find out new tricks and tips on how to tune the cars because social media or related online groups didn't exist back in 98. I was then a 17 year old mechanic passing his engineering diploma... Whoooaaaahhhh what's the gold times back then. And yes the replay mode was real art for those times.

I'll say that Gran Turismo 4 was peak, but I preferred playing Gran Turismo 3 to 4. My big issue with 4 was the that physics were too understeery compared to 3 even when assists were off along with the controls feeling stiff. If it maintained the physics and controls GT3 had however, it probably could've been my favorite all time GT game.

Amazing to see how Gran turismo 7 have fallen off 20yrs later its embarising.

Imagine making a game where people are supposed to interact with extraordinary cars, that you couldn't normally do in real life because it's expensive, now imagine we make a game that give users the same exact thing, expansive virtual cars but make it just as expensive as in real life even tho it isn't real 😂😂😂, gt series used to be good this game now is officially trash

For a game I grew up on loving so much, to see it turn into pure shit now is just saddening 😢, the PP system is rigged beyond repair without making it obvious it was intentional even if they fix it, the pay out per event now is beyond bullshit, the game is not worth it anymore , so officially the last actual gt game I Olay will be 6, and even that was becoming doodoo 😂😂😂

GT3 is fun, GT4 is the best (especially with 360° chase camera mod), GT5 is... interesting

GT3 was a huge step up in graphics but GT4 finally brought the content to go with it. Before that, when GT3 came along I still returned to GT2 sometimes for the content. Then when GT4 was released I didn't really need to go back to either GT2 or GT3. It was all (mostly) there in one game (aside from Complex String). If only they could get the content together more in the current GT7 with the more traditional open career with more races. They've added some great ones in the limited time updates for weekly races (like the JGTC themed one this week) but for some reason they don't keep them in the game permanently. And Kaz claimed there'd be endurance races coming, 2 years ago, yet somehow Forza is getting an endurance update despite so many missteps at launch. In some ways GT7 feels like GT3 all over again. Wish it was more like GT4 all over again.

One major flaw for GT4 is where it holds a world record for a large number of disc read errors with the infamous info "The disc could not be read".

GT4 is a near perfect game, what would make it perfect in my eyes would be it having GT3's physics. As a side-note IIRC GT3 had a diesel powered BMW in it but take my memories with a pinch of salt.

GT5 was my favorite! GT4 is definitely in my top 3

You know I am actually impressed with how much of an impact that Grand Turismo 4 has on many racing gamers. I even still see a handful of content creators who still make videos about them too. 👍

Did you mention the driving missions? The Mercedes one lap magic at the Nurburgring is one of my GT life achievements 😀

Imho, GT6 is the best but GT4 is close 2nd with many firsts in the series and many cars never seen since.

IMO, I prefer GT3. I just think the game is more fun. I think GT4 takes itself a little too seriously.

The PS2 Era is where Gran Turismo peaked.

I'm having a lot of fun playing GT7 but will always remember GT4 😊😊😊
